A day on the East Coast

Spent a fantastic day on the East Coast with blue skies and sun - hard to believe it is only April 19 - the temperature reached 21C on the way home. Got as far as Brancaster Staithe. I don't know what it is but sunny days with blue skies seem magnified out there. I guess it's the wide open spaces and flat terrain. Heard my first skylark of the year, too. Now that I'm not working I can go off for more days like this with a friend - I think I am going to enjoy this summer...
