Tongue Action!

How does my compact camera manage to get everything in focus but the dog?

I wouldn't normally have blipped anything so out of focus but just look at that tongue action!

Me and Blue had a day cleaning up the mess at the building site (one day it will be our home again!). He was a very dusty dog by the evening but a good shake in the garden sorted him out.
