Quilt-able Leaf

My weekly stint at the Chinese gardens was very quiet and cold. I had plenty of time to look around and in doing so I found this variegated leaf which looked so much like a quilt pattern. Each and every leaf on the plant had a different pattern but all were the same range of colours.

Sorry, I do not know what it is called but will try to find out and can post it at a later date.
