Merry Maiden

We met Isabelle in Mylor after she'd been out rowing in preparation for the World Pilot Gig Championships in the Isles of Scilly next week. Rowing as stand in no. 2 oar for Nankersey men's first team she seemed to survive the ordeal and still have the energy to come dancing along the jetty at Mylor Harbour to find us.

Despite out best efforts we were (once again) unable to spot them out on the water for a photo. I'll try again this evening when she's out again with the women's team in their new gig Serafina.

Down here in pagan Cornwall 'tis all about witches and stone circles and giants - we're off to St Agnes head to see visit the Giant Bolster later today.
