Dusk

I was planning to keep a few hours in the weekend to catch up on work but other more attractive options didn't leave me with any time. It turned out for the best since much work was wrapped up today, well within the deadline. In fact, I could have left early. But when I managed to, the light was at its most beautiful. Very much like this. It was drizzling on a few roads while others were under bright sunshine. There was even a rainbow rising from the other side of the river. The photos came naturally. Cumulus clouds, bridges, firs, poplars, cyclists, joggers, backlit cherry blossoms (the last few that remain), the sun...But I was drawn to the silence of this scene when the good light had faded away.
