Close up Lenses

Fellow blipists. A lot of people forget how useful these old fashioned devices really are. They are close up lenses that screw onto the end of a normal lens and they work beautifully. They come in sets and are housed in attractive leather cases.

By and large I can detect very little difference in performance between a proper macro lens and a normal lens with these things. Just for the hell of it I am going to do a comparison blip soon and show you what I mean.

Cymbeline keeps wanting a macro lens. Well these are almost as good and are merely a fraction of the price.
