Today we went to Culzean Castle in Ayrshire and unfortunately couldn't spend as long as we wanted. Had coffee and freshly made scones in the 'Old Stables' tea-room, and there were 4 little chaffinches eating crumbs on the ledge right next to my seat. They were not in the least bit shy of people, and I managed several shots without even zooming in. I particularly liked this one as you can see some of the ayrshire coastline in the background, and I also caught one of the birds in flight.
