Kennedy Town

I took the local bus out to Kennedy Town, which I'd seen on the boat on the way in to central, distinguished by it's high rise, narrow domestic buildings.

When I got of the bus I felt unusual as a tourist (if that's what I am). People stopped and spoke to me, asked if I was interested in what was around me. The answer was always yes, but I was rarely allowed to photograph what I wanted to.

However old and young actively mixed together in comfort.

Despite great politeness I wasn't allowed to photograph the gambling game in the tea importers hall, although watching it alone, will stay as a memory forever.
