Cameron's edited life

The economics of dereliction.

Old run-down buildings fascinate me. Often they are very photogenic, sometimes even beautiful. However the econonomic position is what interests me most. How does a seemingly functional building end up lying empty, rotting away? Surely the owners don't see this as a positive management strategy?

The answer, however, is for someone smarter then me to formulate.

Tomorrow's Blip will come from the fine city of York. Off to the in-laws' for a short break.

As usual my brother will be looking after our home. That's the ex-boxer with the 3 German Sheperd dogs, who just sits cleaning his guns all the time he's through here. He's finished his time on parole.
(just in case, you never know who's reading this!)
