the hill...

Nick finally had the proper conditions to sled down the big hill... This is the view from the top... We watched as kids went halfway up the hill and slid down... Nick climbed all the way to the top... Everyone actually got off of the hill and cleared the out of his way... Some guy actually asked me if my husband was crazy... I said "yes, clearly"... We all stood at the bottom of the hill waiting for him to come down... This pic is actually by proxy since he took the pic from the top of the hill...

I have to admit, I really didn't think he'd do it... And I still can't believe that he did... It was a pretty good day... did the sledding and then had a houseful of people over... Bjorn is home from Iraq for a weeklong furlow... We had a mini birthday party for him and Nick together... Delicious home-made mac and cheese... Yummy cake, both chocolate and "funfetti"... WAY too many jello shots... wonderful friends...
