Thinking outside the box.

Took Miss B to the park today for a bit of fun - but not too much fun!

When we arrived we spotted 'Jack in the box' bouncy thing, which was also called Moonwalk (no connection to the king of pop). While Miss B was inside bouncing I was told off for walking around the side to watch her through one of the little windows. Apparently you have to stand round the front where he can keep an eye on you. The owner of Moonwalker, not Michael Jackson!

While standing at the front with a limited view of all the 'fun' I noticed the following list of rules, which I presume are there to help you maximise your fun but in a safe way:

1. Ensure all users remove their footwear and any other sharp objects.
Glad we left those pointy shoes in the house then!

2. Spectacles should be removed.
It's obviously safer to bounce around with blurred or limited vision than to actually be able to see what your doing. Maybe that adds to the fun!

3. Whilst inside do not bounce into the walls.
Sorry kids, if you happen to loose your balance while bouncing on an inflatable floor your out! And if you've removed your glasses - you've no chance at all.

Only 8 kids were allowed in at any one time and any boisterous behaviour (rough play) was strictly forbidden. With a 5 minute (strict) time slot I'm not sure there was enough time to get too excited.

I'm starting to think we'd have had more fun with the king of pop himself, doing a real moonwalk - and he wore 'sharp' shoes!
