Palm Weaver

During Palm Sunday both churches in town have a large number of people selling woven palm fronds. We were fascinated by the intricate, and varied, designs. Many of the efforts were executed in fresh palm fronds, some incorporated colors, and others still were dried and decorated with glitter. My wife bought some of each. This artesian was persuaded to pose for a photo with two of his creations after we purchased the one on the right for 10 pesos.
