My Rocks.........

My parents are my rocks.............we bought this for their Golden wedding anniversary, that was two years ago...... fifty two years..............wow........... it sits proudly in their garden, when i visited today seeing it reminded me of the occasion.........two people can actually sit on here, and we do, it is hard to get the feeling for the size of it, or the beauty, when the sun shines on it and sparkles...........

When we came up to my parents golden wedding anniversary, there was obviously celebrations, but what to buy them was the biggest problem, I had instructions from both parties, we have everything we want, please do not get us anything fancy, gold, or items with engraved stuff on.........them both being very contemporary for there senior years...... and concern at us spending our money, as only parents do......

They love all things natural, wood, stone.......rock and so on......the day arrived, we assembled outside their home, whilst this big lorry pulled up outside, the crane attached, neither having a clue what it would be, and the arrival looking from a builders merchant rather than a quarry..........eventually their gem of quarts was landed, seeing them both gob smacked was another enjoyable moment, as they had been guessing non stop what it would be...............and was thrilled and very relieved to have this addition to their garden.........

The rock is them, it represents their love, journey and honesty.......
