Going for Gold!

Chloe received her first Gold medal at an Open Meet today (Orpington Open, Gillingham), for the 100m free, (1.08.9) and also achieved her regional qualifying time. She was pretty chuffed. Joe came third in 50m fly. Both got PBs in their other races too, though Chloe was disappointed not to get a regional QT for the 200m free as well. She has one more chance next month.

Heidi and I watched the morning session, then left C and J to it, drove back and had a nice hour in the park in the glorious sunshine. Came home for ice lollies and did some gardening, then when D, C and J got back we had our slightly tardy Saturday burgers-on-the-sofas together. Lovely.
