Another Brunel Bridge

You might think Maidenhead when you think of Brunel's bridges over the Thames but he also built this one at Gatehampton and another at Moulsford.

Today they would just knock up a concrete structure.

This bridge, on the other hand, was beautifully crafted.

Amazing brickwork.

So ends our two day canoe on the Thames.

It has been wonderful and a 40th birthday of a great friend celebrated.

Lots of marathon finishers on the train back from Reading.

They looked tired but on a high.

It's been four years since I ran it and I felt a fair bit of envy.

One solution to that!
