"Hosanna!"

Humans are built to worship. If you don't believe me, get yourself along to a football match or music concert. The crowds go wild! They sing/shout/scream the praises of their favourite football team or band.

On Palm Sunday, the crowd went wild for a supposedly average Jewish man riding on a donkey. But they had seen Him do amazing things, say amazing things, and they knew He was anything but average. This was the one sent to save them.

We are built to worship, but are we worshipping the right thing? If we worship football teams, they are bound to fail us at times and lose games. If we worship musicians, they might charge us too much for their music or split and stop writing new songs. But if we worship the man on the donkey, He will never fail us.
