entwined

We were in Brighton again today for Jack to have his underwater photo taken (think Nevermind cover). On the way home we stopped off at the Laughing Fish in Isfield for a pub lunch. In the beer garden I found this hop vine growing round a trellis fence.

Despite the obvious fragility of the fence, the vine has managed to grow to a fair thickness without breaking it.

Almost like an embrace :0)
