Guildford

I was in Guildford for the Geographical Association Conference on Friday and Saturday. Only my third visit to Guildford and my first walk along the river. Paula, my job share partner, and I walked from the Travel Lodge into town to meet up with the Primary Committee and share an evening meal at a Thai restaurant. Well apart from getting lost. Typical geographers! And gaining the assistance of a very nice young policeman who took us to the door (Paula got the photo), we had a very enjoyable evening with friends and an absolutely stunning meal. (It was a roof top restaurant above a car-park - highly recommended if you are in Guildford.)
