John's 75th Celebration

Tonight we celebrated my dear family friend's 75th birthday. It was a party in his honor put together by his daughter and the Seattle Labor Chorus here for John who sang many years with them. They are a world renowned labor chorus and he sang bass. John retired 18 years ago from the Post Office and still maintains his union status with the Letter Carrier's union. Unionism was and is his passion as is singing. So tonight was for John and here is a picture of him and his wife who put together a magnificent picture board of photos of him, his family and friends as well as chorus shots. There was plenty of pot luck foods, laughter, memories and singing of labor songs shared though out the evening. Happy 75th John Henry!!
