Pack's 49th Birthday!

I had so many cool blips today!! This one is of Packy's Birthday cake, made and filled w/all kinds of yummu healthy veggies an fruits! So awsome to see him devour that cake! He loved it! I do feel bad for the bigger animals as their enclosures are not big enough for some of them, but today I learned that the Elephants are getting a new enclosure built for them over the next couple of years! I feel badly for all the animals that they are even in the Zoo, but alot of them have been rescued after improper treatment, injuries or being orphaned. they are love and cared for extremely well. The keepers provide ways for them to get exercise and food in places to encourage them to forage like in the wild. I love the Zoo. I hope that people see and learn about wildlife and want to protect and preserve all the creatures that inhabit our World.
