Big Country

I've been reliving my youth. I went to see Big Country tonight at the O2 Academy in Leeds. I never thought I'd ever see them live again. The last time I saw them was here on their 'Final Fling' tour. Went with my brother and had a great time. No Stuart Adamson of course but he was there in all the songs, and they played them all. I even had a good old bounce around to Fields of Fire. Big Country, the band I was into when I was fourteen and the band I have seen live more than any other. As I got older I moved onto other bands and 'cooler' music but there is always a place for the music you grew up with. I even wore my checked shirt. Brilliant!
