Casual Canoe
First Blip. My photography is lacking in skill but I think the subject is quite amusing. This is my back garden with the Water of Leith just beyond the ivy fence, we own the canoe or 'the big yella fella' as my father so aptly puts it. Been a part of my life for 15 years now, and still going strong. Although it may appear I live in the suburbs I live a 20minute walk from Princes Street, finding such a view in the heart of a city is one of the few beauties of Edinburgh (although the wild garlic does tend to overwhelm one's nose).
Strange day today, completely hung but managed to complete some previously outstanding tasks. Was awoken at 6am by the sounds of birds mating outside my window... an interesting alarm clock. Sleeping pattern is likely to be messed up now -thanks for nothing nature.
Drove around Colinton today and stalled in the middle of a cross road... slightly embarrassing. Embarrassment does seem to be a recurring theme for me recently. Ah the joys of teenage-hood.
