Saltwell Park Angel
I had a trip down to the Saltwell Park show this afternoon. It has been years since I was last there; in fact I was probably just a small boy. Gateshead council have spent a considerable amount of money in recent years doing the place up and I have to say what a great job they have done. There was lots going on today with a marquee and plenty of stands to browse as well as all sorts of other things to keep the kids entertained. After devouring a hog roast and stuffing sandwich I headed off to explore the grounds, I took many shots but the one I have decided to use for today's entry is this beautiful Boer War Memorial.
I've had a lovely afternoon and I'll definitely not be leaving it as long before I go back next time.
