Just For The Record

2.30 p.m. Portobello Road, Notting Hill, London. There are records all around me. Even on the walls along Portobello Road. This is an art project by Natasha Mason and Theresa Crawley, which you can find out more about here. It seemed quite apt to photograph it today of all days. What? You didn't know? It's Record Store Day! I wish they would call it shop instead of store in the U.K. though. A celebration of independent record shops throughout the U.K. and overseas.

For the ahem, record. I went to Rough Trade West in Notting Hill, where I listened to a little bit of Strange Fruit and purchased a copy of The Best Of Astrud Gilberto Volume 2 and couple of limited edition 45's of the Edwyn Collins / The Drums track In Your Eyes
