A building fit for Kings?
WSMBM has really got into modern brutal (ugly) architecture & while I was up at King's Buildings yesterday for work it dawned on me that it was the perfect place for him to go take photographs.
So, off we went today for a long leisurely wander around the campus. He had a great time and I quite enjoyed the walk too.
The campus is home for the College of Science & Engineering and is named after King George V who laid the first foundation stone in 1920.
Some of the buildings still exist from that time and have lovely stonework symbolising the school they house, the School of Zoology is especially good.
This shot is of the Michael Swann Building with one of the two Paolozzi statues of Parthenope and Egeria outside it. Not sure which one this is!
