Friday: Little Venice

I was invited to a friend's house for dinner tonight, along with three other mutual friends.  My friend lives up near Warwick Avenue, an area of London that I don't know particularly well.

Had a few hours to kill after work so decided to go on a blip-hunt for future ideas.  My little feet were aching by the time I was done.

I was very excited because I saw two famous people in the vicinity of my friend's flat.  One was Magenta Devine, who used to present 'The Rough Guide', and the other, much more exciting (sorry. Magenta!) was Tony Robinson, aka Baldrick from 'Blackadder'.  I was very cool, only getting hysterical once I had passed them and they couldn't see me.  

This picture is Little Venice, not too far from Warwick Avenue.  Odd to think of canals and barges in the middle of London.
