Raindrops are falling ...

... pretty much everywhere.

A quick early blip today. Bags are packed. Cousteau had gone to his second home in the country (thanks JL). B, the house sitter, cat looker afterer and study troll is in situ. Taking his role very seriously.

The house has been tidied and cleaned to within an inch of its life.

Barking is ready for a few days away in the North Island.

I learnt something interesting about myself this morning. I don't cope well with people changing my plans and trying to hurry me up. I had a day of stuff planned and then goalposts got moved. It unsettled me. I didn't realise how stressed out things were making me until I noticed that Cousteau was a bag of nerves. A couple of phone calls and a cancellation of something I had to do today, as well as saying 'no' to some friends has seen calm resume in the Barking household.

A pleasant listen to Mary Black's Best of CD has put the world right again.

So, back to the triptych. Three soggy photos of general garden sogginess. I tweaked up the colour because it's a bit gloomy and I wanted brightness. Best in large.

I'll not be blipping (most likely) until my return so bye for now.

Au revoir.
