I'm a lumberjack

After a long stressful week at work I got home tonight and just wanted to head out into the garden so while my beautiful wife made dinner I mowed, raked and fed the lawn before cutting the bush in the corner back.

The cutting back went from a slight trim to a full Lionel Blair cut and eventually a bin'd off all off.

This is a poor capture, but I hope that you can see that the inside of the wood was bluey grey in colour. It was so strange and the majority of the bush was the same. Does any one have any idea why?
