Tulip Time!
You can define onset of summer in Edinburgh by the appearance of flowers. First the crocus's appear all over the place, followed by the daffies then when the weather is finally on the right track, the tulips appear. So, from that I take the amount of them in Princes Street Gardens today as a good sign that summer is just around the corner, that and it's mid April...
Torn for blipping material today to be honest. I've got a cracker of the Ross Fountain and Castle from this afternoon, and a brace of nice shots of the Gardeners House in the west gardens too. However, in the interests if doing somthing a little different, here's a shallow DoF tulip.
Nice to do something different for a change. I did start playing about with the ND3.0 but there wasn't enough definition in the clouds to make using it viable. Shame too as with the flowers in around the fountain it would have made a belter of a shot. Never mind, sure I'll get a chance at it before the summers out.
