Last Day!

Today was my last day at work before starting a new job on Monday.

Yesterday they gave me a wee leaving speech and flowers and some lovely theatre vouchers. I am really excited about the new role I am starting and I have been counting down the days but then, this week it has been very clear that there are a lot of people I have worked with over the past 3 years that are really lovely and I will try my hardest to stay in touch with.

It's amazing the stuff that goes on behind the scenes to ensure that businesses like Comet can operate in today's market. I do love working in Retail IT - sad but true!

Anyhoo here's to next steps and new opportunities. I am now really keen to get started at the new place :)
