Shrapnel

In surgery today, an older gentleman came in to have this rather large piece of metal removed from his forearm. He's had it there since the mid to late 1970s. (My tolerance for pieces of pipe in my arm is rather low, so I think perhaps I would have had it removed a bit earlier than this...)
