Drumuie

The main road to Portree from Dunvegan and Uig leads down the hill. For what appears to be a windy road the traffic flows very quickly. Finding a moment in the middle of the day without vehicles can be a challenge.

Though it appears overcast it is quite warm and the sun comes out periodically. The bright sunny days that we have had at this time of the year seem to be evading us this year.

As I write this the weather has closed in and it is raining again. I can only just see the land on the far side of Loch Portree. Not a pleasant evening for visitors to go looking for somewhere to dine.
