The La' Hull

Was back in Dundee today to see my ma. Had a wee drive up to the top of The Law Hill and took some blips.

I like this one the best, it's looking out to the north of the city. In the distance, is the area I grew up in. Six huge blocks of flats used to dominate the skyline there, and thats where me and my friends all lived. In the very far distance are the Sidlaw Hills. We used to walk up there in the summer holidays from school, leaving early in the morning and returning in time for tea. It was maybe a 3 or 4 mile walk, but when you are 13/14 that seems like a huge distance and it felt like you were on some kind of little adventure, cutting through woods and over fields and trying to avoid angry farmers! Good times :-)
