Thou Shall Have A Fishie

How could I possibly leave without another seaside picture, This holiday has been way too short for me, although my No.1 boy is glad to be home. I have always had the desire to move away, he hasn't. I expect because he has lived away from home in England for many years. That and he travels so often for work.

These fishing creels lobster pots were gorgeous, full of bits of the sea, and different colours. Many had been patched, by hand, a soon forgotten trade. The wooden frames were in various states of repair, weather and torment by the sea. Yet they looked still and calm piled up by the side of their boat.

We always end with a beach walk. Bamburgh beach was virtually deserted when we arrived (I have upload a couple of shots to my folio). I love to leave with that vision in my mind. The cool calm water and the long expanse of empty sands. I will return soon.

And wouldn't you know it, a last holiday treat, a facial for me and my girl. She gets the facial, they muck up my appointment and I get nothing. Just remind me who has the youthful, clear, wrinkle free skin! Aw but she did look so chilled when she re-appeared. Bliss
