Felt terrible for most of the day: Pains in the sides of my lower back, like a dull ache. It's consumed my thoughts and fuelled my worries for most of the morning, which has in turn made me feel pretty unwell.

After several hot-flushes I managed to bag the last appointment at my doctors surgery. One urine sample later and I was told it didn't appear i needed antibiotics, although the pathlab would be able to shine a stronger light on things by the end of the week (along with an ultrasound scan, waiting list permitting).
