Aren't they supposed to be liquid?

This is what it looked like when I got up. Harold and Hilda had to wait for their breakfast. The snow was gone a couple of hours later, but it didn't get much warmer. Maximum temperature for the day was 46F/8C.

I'm plodding along with the tax return. I discovered that I inadvertently started early (for me). Returns usually have to be postmarked no later than April 15th, but this year it's a holiday in Washington DC (the other Washington), so the deadline has been changed to the 18th. I think I can make that.

C reminded me that we had snow on May 1st a few years ago.
