Old and Wise

This tree has intrigued me for years. I don't know how it got to be this way. I would love to sit in the crooks and swing my legs! It is an old ponderosa pine. There is a blue spruce in the picture as well.

We had another sunny but cold and windy day! Spring is really trying to arrive--I got several good pictures of the blooming forsythia, but decided on the trees instead!
