An alternative cold remedy

Have been feeling a bit under the weather with a persistent cold for a while now, and generally feeling pretty crappy. Imagine how lovely it was to come back to my desk after a meeting at work today to find a beautiful bunch of pink roses and budding lilies from Neil, to make me feel better. A remedy that far surpasses lemsip or strepsils ...

There was of course a typically cynical remark from the usual suspect (Dave, you know who you are) about this, saying that Neil had been putting it about and was therefore buying me flowers through guilt, but that can be treated with the contempt it deserves. It was quite funny though :)
