The out of town bus stop view

Out to Maw's as I hadn't seen her at the weekend. We poured over my newly arrived Pilot Guide to the Forth and her latest Scots Magazine with photos of the East Neuk. And then we poured some of her Macallan into glasses. And then I poured myself onto the omnibus to town. Once again, no conductor was on board to assist me!

Later I witnessed Tavish Scott being interview by Gordon Brewer on Newsnight Scotland. Poor Tavish was unbelievably hopeless and discomforted. And Brewer is no Paxman. Best comment on this slow motion car crash was a tweet from Patrick Harvie, the gnome-like Green MSP. "Gordon Brewer's gonna have a damn clean floor, the way he's using Tavish Scott to wipe it". Ouch!
