Spain Day Five

Amy and I jumped out of bed like startled gazelles today ... well actually it was more that i woke up early and with the apartment having shutters which block out 100% of the outside world i had no idea what time it was so as i stumbled into the living room and checked the time i realised it was just before sunrise, so i woke Amy who was so enthusiastic i had to drag her out of bed and we went up onto the terrace to catch the sunrise.

Although the sun rising over the village was not the most beautiful sunrise i've ever witnessed, it was quite a wonderful ten minutes. With the rest of the village getting up and starting their working days it was peaceful and enthralling to watch it all unfold below us.

After this we headed straight back to bed for a couple of hours.

Later on today we went out to the hot springs at Fortuna, it is about an hours drive through the mountains to a tiny village up in the hills. The baths are geothermally heated and it's like getting into a hot bath as you climb in. Later on in the day i even braved jumping into the cool pool after spending helf and hour in the hot pool - frrreeezzzing!

We headed out for Indian on the evening; it was really tasty.
