Marishes Chapel.

This Church will be celebrating its 150th year in July. It has recently
been elevated from being just a chapel, to now The Church of St Francis.

Its redeeming feature is its unusual Spire. This apparently was
designed by Gilbert Scott. It has a Square Wooden Bell Turret
topped with an Octagonal Spire, clad with wooden Shingles.

Its design and construction is unique in the area, possibly
the only one of its kind.
