Leeds Castle
(Backblip)
First up we had a classy picnic lunch in Tenterden car park and did a spot of essential shopping in the Waitrose. Truly middle class.
We then abjectly failed to find Sutton Valance and ended up at Leeds Castle. £18 per head to get into the castle... you can go up Snowdon for that. We decided to visit the (free) grounds instead, and they were something else! I got some great Springy shots there.
The most incredible thing was the tame peacocks they had - I mean you could literally stand right next to them! I got an amazingly lucky shot of an albino male strutting his stuff. Easily one of the best shots I've ever managed. This is now a 16x20 print on my wall. Win!
