Old Austin

Jumped in the car today, off to shoot a bird just for pooba.gingernut but got totally side tracked and ended up 40km in the wrong direction in Middlemarch. Woops. Well after a wander around the railway station we found this old Austin truck sitting in the railway yards. It was odd because the area was just so tidy and this old truck was in the middle of it.

It got me thinking........

Why is it here?
Who left it here?
Why has it not been dumped like all other old vehicles? (see yesterdays blip for more)

Im glad its still here it was a little treasure for Mrs O and myself and it also lets us all see just how far the design and comfort of vehicles we take totally for granted has come.
