Barking and Canterbury Country

This is just down the road from Canterbury and Barking's place.

I parked illegaly, hopped out and snapped this quickly, while on my way to the indoor swimming pool around the corner, where I had my first kayak lesson.

I spent most of the night upside down in the boat, getting used to being under water and learning how to get upright. Lessons continue on the river both days this weekend, including white water on Sunday. I can't wait.
