Open Mic Nights

As a techy, I spend a lot of my time at gigs.

Open mic nights are different. They are two things. They offer a chance to socialise with musicians, but they also offer a chance to talk with good friends. This picture depicts a very good friend of mine, a fellow techy to which I owe so much, playing at an open mic night that he also runs (with his other half).

If you can find a community like the one that exists here, you've made it. This night is family to me, and has been since I've moved to London. Sure, we've moved house, but we're still a unit. Everyone should have a "family".
