Observer

Missed a great opportunity this afternoon for a *cough* colour shot. A workman on a lift-type thing up in the air silhouetted against the sky, using some kind of tool to cut a girder up, orange flames and sparks flying everywhere. Could have looked great in colour. Would have looked crap in black and white. But, alas, by the time the camera was out of my bag he'd finished and was on his way down from his platform in the sky. No flames. No sparks.

So, it was out again after dusk to see what more of the buildings had come down. Starting to look very shell-like now, all big interior spaces and bits of external frame still standing. Perfect musical accompaniment from one of the two new Grouper albums. Title track from the first of the pair is the current favourite.
