Dinosaur Pile-up
Backblipped.
Avrils birthday today. She had to work this morning, whilst I enjoyed a long lie and a trip to the gym! But it meant that once she finished, we went out for lunch, then headed off to Glasgow for a bit of shopping, then dinner at Waggamamas and of to King Tuts to see Dinosaur Pile-up.
The support came from Whiskey something or other and Sissy and the Blisters. The first band (whose name I can't fully remember) were ok, but with a terrible singer! The second, maybes be good in a couple of years (with practice!)
Dinosaur Pile-up however, were fab! They sound like an early version of Ash, whilst being a bit more grown up than Ash were in the begining. This blip was of their bassist Harry, who went for a wander through the crowd (not that it was that busy) at the end of the set. He came and played next to me on the bench at the back before climbing the stairs to the sound desk.
I would go see them again, it was good fun.
