Water wall

Loads of rain last night and wet and windy this morning. Nice short morning at work, then pottered around in the polytunnel doing useful things, nice and warm in there. The sun finally broke through at about 4 and I rushed out, dug over a small bed then went for a brisk walk 'over the top'. This is a fairly gentle but attractive walk passed the stone circle, over a nice bit of hilly bog and then home following a river. Masses of water was gushing down from the mountains, the river falling vertically at this point. The noise was loud! The mud was mighty.
Everything is greening up, the gorse is out and the blackthorn blossom is prolific.

We saw a good film last night - Submarine - a coming of age story set in Wales, sometime in the 80s. It wasn't Hollywood!! And it was painfully funny and very well acted.

One more day then hols - can't wait!! Wish I could go to the poncy flashmob tomorrow - that will be hilarious I suspect!
