Evening River Cruise

Finally managed to meet Riverman in person and get out on his boat this evening for a personalised tour of the River Forth to take photos. Riverman is a fan of photography that I met through a random chance of Blipping his boat and he contacted me to say how much he admired the shot. I'm not the only Blipper he has met through this route...he's taken out Delphwynd on a boat trip also. I said he should make a business out of taking Blippers on boat trips as he couldn't be more obliging in positioning his boat exactly where you want for the best shots...so much so that we ran aground a couple of times this evening!

It was a glorious evening out on the river with plenty to photograph including a couple of locals on their jet ski and hundreds of geese coming in to roost. Riverman kept me well entertained with his knowledge of the river and recollections of the locality including of when the Alloa swing bridge was still in operation.

Thanks Riverman for the trip and your company...look forward to doing it again!
