Hand Me Downs

Ella received some hand me downs from our Monday friend. Actually we are bigger than our Monday friend and usually giving her hand me downs, but this time Monday friend had some hand me downs from another friend that were too big for her so she let us have a turn first. In the pile were some shiny shoes to add to Ella's collection. Ella was delighted, and despite them rubbing a blister on the side of her foot she has worn them without a break. At night that were carefully placed beside her bed so she could quickly locate them in the morning. I love the thoughtfulness of friends that share, and the simple pleasure a pretty pair of shoes can bring.
